A programme of discussions linked to this year's plays.
Dorian Williams founded the Pendley Shakespeare Festival as a centre for adult education and Pendley Plus is a celebration of his legacy. If you have ever wanted to know more about the process of creating our shows or you just want to learn something new, please join us for this exciting venture.
Pendley Plus consists of four events: two post-show discussions with the company (3rd and 10th Aug)* and two pre-show talks with visiting academics (6th and 13th Aug).** All events are free of charge and aimed at anyone with an interest in Shakespeare..
Our Romeo & Juliet seminar will consider the merits of adapting Shakespeare in other forms, with particular reference to West Side Story.
Our The Taming of the Shrew seminar will reflect on the thorny problems thrown up by this play.
For more information about Pendley Plus, or to book for the talks please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
